Iraq

After many years of war and oppression under Saddam’s rule, Iraq did not find relief after dropping the regime out. It is still suffering from the unstable security situation and lack of daily services. Iraqis in general are not in a good situation; nevertheless minorities are the most targeted basically Christians. Many of them were obliged to leave their homes after campaigns of violence against them in addition to the growing fear that the Iraqi security forces did not stop or provide protection to them. Thus, they left their houses in Baghdad, Mosul and other cities to head to northern Iraq or to travel abroad seeking safety.

Therefore, international humanitarian organisations started to head towards Iraq in an aim to provide the needs of people and support them as much as possible. In addition, construction companies contracted with the government and locals to rebuild and develop Iraq.
